Establishment

The institution was established by an Act of the Federal Government with a mandate to deliver world-class technical and professional education.

First Graduating Class

The first cohort of National Diploma graduates left the institution, marking the beginning of a long tradition of producing technically competent and industry-ready graduates.

Launch of HND Programmes

Higher National Diploma programmes were introduced in engineering, applied sciences, and business — expanding pathways for advanced technical training.

Master Campus Plan

A new master plan was adopted, leading to the construction of additional lecture theatres, laboratories, and student hostels across a sprawling green campus.
